Lymphedema is a chronic condition that is characterized by swelling in the arms, legs, and other parts of the body. It is caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system from lymph node removal, cancer treatment, or other disease/ disorders.

The purpose of Lymphedema Therapy is to reduce the swelling and prevent additional complications. Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) or Manual Lymphatic Drainage  (MLD) are treatments that help control Lymphedema. These treatments utilize gentle massage to move excess fluid to working lymph nodes, multi-layered compression wrapping, exercise and skin care.
